Sustainability 360° Project
In the Sustainability 360° project we highlight those areas of sustainability that are often overlooked – yet are essential to understand the concept in a holistic manner. By exploring how different dimensions intersect and support one another, we move toward a richer and more wholesome understanding of what sustainability really means. We explore 5 key themes:
- Communication
- Media
- Entrepreneurship and sustainable organizations
- Advocacy
- Sustainable learning
Our Objectives:
During this Erasmus+ KA2 Small-scale partnership project we collaborate with our partners – Prisma, CultureClash4U, Go Green, YMCA Parthenope and ReCreativity – to create new, innovative materials for young people and youth workers in order to develop a set of different skills, mindsets, competences that can lead to a better understanding of how we can
1) make our own lives more sustainable
2) how we can advocate for sustainability in a way that it is suitable for a modern understanding of the concept
3) and how we can create create sustainable learning and working environments at an organizational level
As a result of the project, we will develop new educational materials that youth workers will be able to use in order to find new information about the topic of sustainability. The materials will allow them
to diversify their own programs and update their already existing practices while supporting young people they work with in understanding sustainability from a wider perspective. The project also
contributes to promoting active citizenship, young people’s sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship including social entrepreneurship.
Results of the project:
1. A workshop booklet containing 15 new educational materials related to the complex topic of sustainability – connected to the 5 main topics of our project.
2. A new training curriculum that is designed for youth workers who would like to understand
better the complexity of sustainability matters. This training schedule contains activities that were designed during the project (see Result 1) and is supplemented with other training elements to create a whole training experience.
3. “Sustainability 360°” Podcast: 6 episodes with invited experts where we discuss the different
areas of sustainability
